Hey folks! This is Mike and Tom from Pacific One Collision and Restoration.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from you all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"Why does paint look different in sunlight versus shade?"

Answer:
Paint doesn’t actually change color; light reflection changes how it appears. Metallics and pearls reflect light differently depending on lighting conditions. We apply paint the same way the factory does to ensure consistency.

If anything ever looks off, we want customers to let us know so we can address it.

Summary:
Lighting affects paint appearance due to metallic and pearl reflection, not color mismatch.
