Hey folks! This is Mike and Tom from Pacific One Collision and Restoration.

Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from you all on the internet.

Today's question is:

"Does Pacific One ensure safety after collision repair? | Body Shop Federal Way, WA"

Answer:

Safety is one of the most important parts of what we do. When a vehicle comes in after an accident, we first determine what repairs are required. We perform a pre-scan of the vehicle to identify any systems that were triggered, such as SRS, collision avoidance, or other safety-related systems. From there, we consult the manufacturer’s guidelines to see what specific inspections, checks, and calibrations are required based on where and how the vehicle was hit.

For example, if a vehicle is hit in the front, the manufacturer may require us to inspect seat belts, restraint systems, sensors, and other components. We make sure all of those systems are checked and calibrated properly before the vehicle leaves. We also work with a third-party company that specializes in calibrations and safety checks to ensure everything meets manufacturer standards. The goal is to return the vehicle to its pre-accident condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, so it’s truly safe to drive again.

Summary:

Pacific One ensures post-collision safety through pre-scans, manufacturer-guided inspections, and third-party calibrations to verify all safety systems function properly before release.
