"Can rust really be fixed or does it always come back?"
Answer:
Rust can only truly be fixed by cutting it out and replacing the metal. Treating and repainting rust is usually temporary. We recommend panel replacement whenever possible to prevent recurrence.
Summary:
The only permanent rust repair is cutting out rusted metal and replacing it properly.
